Interested in Fostering? Here’s What You Need to Know!
Orphan Annie Rescue does not have a physical facility, so we rely entirely on foster homes to care for our dogs until they find their forever families. Fostering truly saves lives. As a foster, you provide a safe and loving temporary home. We supply everything you need: food, supplies, and medical care. There is no out-of-pocket cost unless you choose to contribute.
Please note:
Fostering is not intended as a trial period for adopting a specific dog, and we do not offer trial adoptions. The dogs listed for adoption on our website are already in foster homes unless otherwise noted. When you foster, you help us make space to rescue another dog in need.
Foster Requirements:
Foster families must live in the metro Atlanta area, north of the airport. Most of our adoption meet-and-greets take place at the Perimeter PetSmart in Dunwoody. Our veterinary partners are located in Alpharetta, Buford, and Kennesaw. If you're unsure whether fostering is a good fit based on your location, please reach out, and we're happy to discuss.
